Congratulations on the successful completion of the Beijing International Congress of Audiology in 2

   On June 2, 2018, the “2018  Beijing International  Conference on Audiology” jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Science and  Technology Association and the Beijing Hearing Association was successfully  opened at the Beijing International Convention Center. More than 500 well-known  scholars from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia,  and China’s Taiwan, China’s top experts and related practitioners attended the  conference. The conference aims to build an international exchange platform in  the field of audiology, promote the development and prosperity of Chinese  audiology, and promote the standardization and healthy growth of the hearing  industry. At the opening ceremony, the speech given by Wan Min,  President of the Beijing Hearing Association, entitled "Irrigation of a  professional nursery and I look forward to a flourishing flower" was strongly  resonated with the delegates. At this conference, we also specifically discussed  a series of specific hearing science and technology development frontier issues  that are involved in hearing aids, cochlear implants, and bone conduction  hearing aids. The most important thing is that we have carried out a  large number of theories in the application of audiology to share the themes of  theory, practice, and ideas. This effectively reflects our expert's  responsibility and commitment to the industry. This is also true of the  round-table discussions. Through full discussion and exchanges, we have found  problems and reached consensus. We hope to be able to support the  industry. The hearing industry exhibition “New Technologies • New Products •  New Services” held at the same time of the conference gathered for the first  time the Swiss SONOVA Group, the Danish WDH Hearing Group, the Sivato Group, the  Danish GN Group, the United States Stark, and Denmark only Six other  international hearing aid manufacturers. At the same time, the China-British  Hearing Education Center of Southampton University and the Audio Technology and  Hearing Impairment Research Center of Manchester University were also invited to  set up exhibitions to promote the development of professional audio education in  China and improve industry progress. The exhibition has set up an exclusive  exhibition area for the audience to share more cutting-edge technology and  service innovations in the industry through experience sharing sessions, micro  sitcoms, listening to extreme challenges, cochlea wearing shows and other  exciting activities, as well as on-site interactions such as question and answer  exchanges and voting draws. Fully reflects the professional services of our  hearing industry.    The closing ceremony of the conference was chaired by Dr. Jin Xu,  executive director and secretary-general of the Beijing Hearing Association. Dr.  Jin Hao said that “Beijing International Conference on Audiology” is an industry  conference that belongs to everyone in our industry. The "Beijing International  Conference on Audiology" is the seed we have planted. Everyone is watering and  growing together.
